FEATURES
DESCRIPTION: the vineyards are located in the five municipalities of the Valpolicella Classica: Sant’Ambrogio, San Pietro in Cariano, Fumane, Marano and Negrar. The grapes are pressed, with very low yields in wine, after 80/100 days of traditional drying in special rooms (fruit rooms), favoring the concentration of sugars. The must is fermented slowly for 18-20 days in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature of 24 ° -28 °. The Amarone is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels before further refinement in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES: wine of great structure, warm, soft and velvety. Highlights a captivating fruity fullness, with elegant spicy notes.
PAIRING: sumptuous red, to be combined with great roasts and game, but which is also an excellent wine for dialogue and meditation.
